CO-CONDUCTOR WANTED

The 505 Community Band, a volunteer organization that welcomes musicians of all ages and ability levels, is now accepting applications for co-conductor(s) through June 13, 2026.

Interested applicants are invited to apply by email and include:

- A cover letter sharing their interest in the position, along with ideas and approaches for supporting the Band's continued growth and success

- A resume outlining relevant conducting training and experience.

This is a volunteer leadership position and is not salaried. Co-conductors receive an honorarium for each of the Band's sessions - Spring and Fall - which include weekly Wednesday evening rehearsals and conclude with a public concert.

The selection process will include interviews with members of the Band's Board of Directors as well as an opportunity to conduct a musical selection during the Sept. 2, 2026 band rehearsal.
